LED question
hey guys so iw as here looking for a socket and i thought hey leds would be nice, but first a few questions. i have a 92 rs camaro, stock electrical.http://www.superbrightleds.com/cgi-b...%23wled#Table2
1. would i have to change anything other thent he lgiht bulbs for these to work?
2. the lettering on the cluster is yellow but is there a way to make it white or better clear? bc i want blue leds and i wana see blue when the lights are on, not green.
3. if i go to dim the lights, will these dim with it?
4. the lights in the climate control pod and shifter plater are the same as the cluster, but would i have to change anything to put those in there?
5. also how would i change the yellow lettering on those? so blue will show tho.
6. and finally which one of the lights do i get fromt he page, lol im thinking the one in the first box, 1st pic, the weld x 120 veiw degree (bc i want my dash to fully light up), should be bright enough but is it the right one? and what are the differences in them all?

1. You need the the bulbs, and you should buy the twist in sockets they also sell on superbrightleds.com. The stupid stock GM bulbs are soldered into the sockets so getting them out and then soldering in your LED bulbs in a pain in the ***! Just buy the twist in sockets, makes life so much easier.
2. I don't know of any way to do this. Maybe someone else could chim in on this one. The blue bulbs actually look pretty good though through the numbers, doesn't come through green at all.. more of an aqua blue..
3. Stock dimmer will not work with LED bulbs. You can buy an aftermarket dimmer, not sure where.
4. Again, I can't say, I havn't done these bulbs.
5. See #2.
6. You want to buy these bulbs: http://www.superbrightleds.com/cgi-b...%2FWLED-x4.htm (Part No: WLED-B4, Beam Pattern/degrees: 90) and these sockets: http://www.superbrightleds.com/cgi-b...0_sockets.html (Part No: T10S-TW)
Keep in mind that our clusters on 90-92 Camaros only have 4 bulbs the light up all the gauges. So no matter what you do they are going to be somewhat dim. I went to the extent of completely covering the inside on my cluster behind the gauges (where the bulbs shine) with reflective foil tape. That made it a little brighter, pretty time consuming though. I've tried a few different styles of LED bulbs and those that I recommended were the best ones.

Re: LED question
I just did the same exact led setup in my '91 Camaro RS, with blue LEDS. I'll take some pictures and post them tomorrow. I should be able to answer a few of your questions
