84 Z Horn button repair

Yea I know... But is there any way to repair the horn button? It wasn't working and when I removed there wasn't a spring like I was expecting. What gives this button the recoil when you press the horn? I installed a new spade on the wire but when installing it kicks on the horn.

Thanks!
