Re: Fuel Pump question help

Use the search feature in the fabrication section. Tons of first hand experiences outlined there

Re: Fuel Pump question help

Use a pipe cutter - they are $10, and won't create as much heat and potential sparks as a saw.

Re: Fuel Pump question help

mini pipe cutter.

i dont condone this way of swapping the pump, but if you have to do it this way, cut a clean hole and make a nice sealed cover plate to cover the hole. dont hack it up.

if the car is TPI/MPFI, you really shouldnt use rubberhose and hoseclamps on the feed line, it should be flared to do it right.

here, use this for a template

avoid power tools, since they are not very delicate and make sparks, which can cause a fire/explosion. If you cut the hole with tin snips, cut slow and dont completely close the cutters every snip. you will get a cleaner cut that way.
