window motor

window motor

what is the best way to replace the window motor in a 92 maro . is it pop rivits or bolts? thanks for the help.

You'll have to drill out the factory rivets. Best way to install new is to use new rivets. The replacement motor should, however, come with new bolts you can use. If you use the bolts you may want to use a little JB Weld to hold the nuts in place on the motor assembly so you can start the threads of the bolts. It's virtually impossible to finagle those nuts back there by hand. Just don't get the JB on the threads and use some locktite to keep the bolts from coming loose over time.
