Does anyone here have the template used to mark the console to cut it out to fit the top plate and shifter? I got a used one here and now I am installing it. I have it in and it shifts great. now I just need to cut the console. I know I can guess at it and cut out a little at a time, but if I can get a template I would rather. The car is a 85 Z28. I am also going to post an ad in the clasified area, I want to sell the old shifter head it is the ball type in leather. The leather is worn but not to bad.
Thanks.

Re: B&M Megashifter console cut out
I just eyeballed mine as ive cut a few for me and a friend and we had the same shifter. I took mine and mimiced mine and when he put it in his car it hit slightly. Mounted slightly different I guess. If you have the boot for it then it will cover up everything cut anyways so it will look clean for sure.

i actually have a suggestion for you go buy some abs plastic, use a dremel and seperate the ashtray portion from the shifter bezel and fabricate a piece of plastic to put underneath the megashifter bezel. its what i did
