Re: Anyone done this or seen it done
I did something kinda like this years ago... I used one of those dash caps, and sanded, smoothed the cap, and sprayed it gloss black with my stripes coming through the windshield.
The cap looked sick and at shows people were always amazed. The downfall of the cap is that it warped in the heat cause it was not glued to my dash (perfect condition). I should have bought a junker to glue it too, and saved the hassle. I can't find anymore pics of it than these
Your fiberglass dash looks pretty cool... I'm not sure how I feel about the rest of the airbrushing, but lots of hard work for sure!

Re: Anyone done this or seen it done
I just like to push myself to do new things Ive never tried is all. Plus if I did do it I think I would do it over to look like stock in black with a small design or something as I like the stock look

If I ever buy a third gen with all that, It will be in the first thing I yank out to replace. That being said, I can appreciate the work that went into it, but as many others said its not my ride.

Re: Anyone done this or seen it done
Painting it with truck bed liner would help the glair issue and keep a stock appearance, for those looking for somthing less flashy.

Re: Anyone done this or seen it done
Figured I'd bump this thread and see if anyone else has pictures/ has experience with fiberglassing their dash. I'm seriously considering it except with a flat black finish. What type of fiberglass and resin to use?

Re: Anyone done this or seen it done
I used fleece Bondo fiberglass resin and fiberglass matt, most of it can be found at any auto parts store.

Re: Anyone done this or seen it done
And do you remember how much resin you needed to buy?

I think u should have done ALL of the different panels with the same design as the dash instead of all the different stuff JMHO ... I REALLY REALLY like the one with the stripes coming through the windshield less "flashy" more style
