I have a black '91 with silver stripes, but the interior trim is wood. I can't stand it. I'd like to get/make a set of custom trim from brushed stainless, maybe set in black plastic. Has this been done or does anyone have an idea where to start? It's just an idea right now since I'm in Germany and my car is on a lift in Ohio, but it's been itching at me.

Also, could I get a link or two to a nice cup holder mod (if one exists)?

I guess you're aware that the wooden trim was never offered and that it's usually a stick on kit. Maybe you could remove it first.

 

I was not aware of that, actually. Removing that would certainly be an improvement, but I'd still like to do the stainless eventually.

Primetime, thanks for the link. I've been wondering what I could do with the ashtray since there won't be any smoking in the car as long as I own it.
