ta gta firebire hatch wiring pics request

ta gta firebire hatch wiring pics request
hey guys,
got an 87 pontiac gta when i got the car the hatch was all screwed up the motor was blown apart, anyway so i grab a whole used assembly from pick n pull and switch the wiring over had to splice a connector n **** and nothing happned with the key, or button so i grabbed another assembly from pnp nothing still, if the keys off and you hit the button on the dash the red brake light on the dash comes on, key on engine off nothing happens at all
the hatch is stuck in the up position and doesnt go down or up,
can someone with a trans am take pics of the wiring all the connections and grounds,

Is the ground wire in place? It runs from the 10mm screw (that mounts to the hatch release solenoid to the latch) to the ground location on the body (below the pull-down unit).
