I took my GTA seat to a shop to have them reupholster the side, butt, and thigh portion of the seat. For one, he couldn't find the leather anymore, so he did an awesome job with vinyl and airbrushed it perfectly. The stitching is just like OEM, new padding underneath and also redid my sagging t-top shades. He said it was the hardest seat he's done in the 30+ years he's been doing this. He doesn't ever want to do another one and won't do my passenger seat when it gets worn out. Thought it was funny, that a 23 year old seat design is giving fits still. I think they are a work of art in themselves.
