temp and rpm gauge not working

temp and rpm gauge not working

Ok guys i need some help I got a 88 camaro that had a 2.8 and I swapped in a 305 from a 82 caprice. My temperature gauge will not work or will my rpm gauge. Can you tell me what color the wires are to hook them up. Thanks alot!

i am not sure about the tach, i am having the same problem myself. but i do no the temp gauge is 2 wires that are black and yellow that go to a sensor on top of the intake manifold. idk how yours are but my temp sensor is to the left of my thermostat on my intake manifold. hope this helps.
