My console lid when you go to press it to open it it doesn't open i took it apart for the **** you press in to get it to open and lock if i don't pull it back it doesn't lock what is that missing i took it all apart and the lid plastic has like 10 cracks always great to know.

 

There is supposed to be a little metal thing behind the piece that you push in. It is U shaped and springy

 

Oh Great Does anyone have any pictures that sounds like the hrdware store or body shop doesnt have them i was thinking about rednecking it which i don't want to do at all was super glue 4mini springs to rebound on it but i want to do it the right way.

How do you take off the plastic lid.

 

there are a few screws in the top pice of the console holding the armrest/console lid down. Its easy to get out.
