I have been looking for replacement seats for my 88. The local junk yard has many 99 to 2000s grand ams. Does anyone know if i can bolt them right into my camaro? Thanks Guys

 

i wouldn't swear to it, but I have heard they work. Sorry if that doesn't help much

I've done it.

I can't remember the exact year Grand Am, but I bolted my third gen tracks to it, and bolted them right in no problem. Just remember the seats are from a 4-door car, so they don't fold forward as far as your original seats will.

 

any photos? always interested in seeing something a little different and since GA's are a dime a dozen around here, should open up some other options for cheap parts. besides, who uses the rear seats anyway

grand am's were on the list but only certain years

I think it goes without saying that you should only be looking at 2 door grand ams

wow, wouldn't have known they weren't stock. looks like i've gotta keep my eyes peeled more at the pick and pull around here come spring...

 

Grand am seats are more thickly padded than normal camaro seats, so if you dont have issues with headroom (like me, at 6'8") they can give you a lot of comfort

Wish I could use them.....

 

dang.... this thread has got me thinking. the padding in my 4th gen seats is so thin I can't drive my car with my wallet in my back pocket, if you know what I mean

i'm going to start looking on CL for people parting out 95-98 grand ams.... I need the headroom, but that's what the recline function is for, right?
