Re: Weather Stripping
I bought mine for my 86 from 1AAuto. Was the cheapest I found. The fit is nice, not perfect, but pretty good.
I have ttops on mine and the first time I put the ttops on took 2 people to get it in properly cause the rubber is so thick hehe, but it makes for a nice tight seal.
My biggest complaints are the corners at the door window / ttop, and where the ttop sits in at. At the upper back corner of the door the stripping has a crease in it (possibly do to shipping, maybe due to design hard to tell). This crease causes a hole unless you modify the little bracket that the weatherstripping goes into at the back of the door and extend the bracket to push up in corner section. The part where the top sits in is very poorly designed imo, it's just two pieces of rubber meeting together, nothing to support them or force them to actually push together. It doesn't leak for me yet because the window is sealed so tightly against it, but I can see these being very big leak points in a few years when the rubber has compressed and isn't quite so tight. And there isn't really anything you can I can see to easily do to fix this one.
I know my description probably does a poor job of illuminating what I'm talking about, if you want to see the fit with ttops let me know and I'll snap off a few pics and post them.

Keep your eyes open on craigslist. I picked up a complete set of hardtop softseal stuff still in the bags for $75. Really good deals will come up if you don't need anything fast and check it every day.
