I would think it would. Not sure how a manual car handles the neutral safety for the ignition switch, but all else should be the same. On an auto car, there is a cable from the shifter to the ignition switch that keeps it locked unless in park or neutral. I assume manual car has same, just a shorter cable from the clutch instead.

You don't have VATS, so that's not an issue either. Can't think of any other difference besides maybe one has wiper delay other doesn't, or cruise control - but that's an issue of using correct turn signal lever and wires, and not a function of the actual column itself.

the auto car had cruise, but i removed all that when i got the car, when the previous owner swapped to a carb none of it worked any way- also the neutral safety switch is missing, which ill be fixing soon,so i guess ill just pull the auto cars column out and compare the 2 side by side, thanks!

There's 2 screws on it you loosen and then slide the switch in whichever direction you need to to get it working without slop. Anyways, the columns are identical. The neutral safety feature is merely a cable attached to the ignition switch with a philips head screw. You'll see how it goes when you pull the sloppy column out. But, what are you going to do when the "good" column gets sloppy? I'd just tighten up the one I have first... Besides, what are you going to do if one of the columns has a delay wiper switch and the other one has a 2-speed? You're probably going to have to take at least one of the columns apart.
