Better question, does anyone know of anyone who does the same quality of work for around the same price?
I was hoping to get my interior done before the GM Nats this summer.

Her business did close, however she still does work on the side for a good price. I know because she did my seats this past winter I contacted her by PM her on this forum.

I contacted her a couple months ago to see if she wanted redo my seats, she said she was swamped with work and wouldn't be able to work on them.
It's really tough trying to find someone who can do decent work at a fair price.

Re: Does anyone know what happened to birds and Bowties upholstry???
My daughter is thinking of expanding into the auto upholstery business- she is a fashion designer. I know, I know, but she designs and makes her own line, so she has the experience to at least design and fab seat covers. I am trying to see what kind of work she could get from the 3rd genners. Can you PM me with what you need, so we can gauge if it is worth her time. Sorry if I am not doing this the right way, moderators...

Re: Does anyone know what happened to birds and Bowties upholstry???
Ok guys, for those of you who do not know the story behind why birds and bow-ties closed both he and her husband had medical problem which in turn led to them getting behind in work and they had to close. I know that she suffered Crohns disease, which a child hood friend of mine had and it really does a number on you especially if you do not realize that you have it, which I believe was the case of the cover girl. I know that there was some issues with some members on here where they didn't receive there covers and they wanted a refund, which they did receive even though it did take a while for them to get it. Which I assume was do to the fact that the cover girl and her husband were both out of work and that they also had alot of medical bills. Why I know most of this is because I had her do my interior work this past winter and before I did I researched her because of the negative feed back on the forum. After contacting her and talking to her, I released what happened and what the problems were behind the situation, I decided that just because she fell on hard times it shouldn't keep me from using her. I found her nice and good to work with I had custom work done and I find them to be suburb and considering that if I had a local shop to do the same work it would have cost about 3 times as much. This is just my take on things and what I have experienced if you use her or not it is your choice

Birds and bowties was right around the corner from my house. They were nice people from what I remember. I went over there a few times.
