Got my Dash done!

Well, it's been awhile since I last posted, but here is the dash in my car. I've been working on and off for oh, the last couple of years. I finally finished this one. Excited is the word. I talked to the painter and the paint is going on at the beginning of April..... Can't wait, this thing will really turn a corner after paint! I can finally have the engine bay done, and also have the engine in. I'm putting an old Martin turbo kit in and also have designed an engine cover for shows only. Anyway. I am excited to have this dash done....I can say that. Talk with you all later....and thanks for looking...

Re: Got my Dash done!

Thanks guys, It's been a long time coming and a heck of a long time to make. Here's some extra pics too of the upper and lower consoles too.. I just got through talking with the painter, and it looks like April for paint. Can't wait, here is why..... I've worked a couple of hours in the bay and on the engine mods to fit in the bay, but here they are.....Just if you were wondering why I'm excited. Thanks again guys. I also sculpted a nose too.... this is the sag bumper from season2 and 3/sometimes 4....I know these don't belong here, but they relate to the main topic....Talk with you all later

Re: Got my Dash done!

It's all under the dash still, except mine is all wired directly to gauges on the dash gauge stuff... The headlights are as normal. They are under that one... Not a hard dash to wire up ... The electronics have phoenix connectors, and it's mainly just plug and play.... The CRTs, different game there.... Later

That's sweet! Great job. I was a huge KR fan as a kid. Still have fond memories of Michael and KITT. Definitely an awesome job.
