4th gen sun visors for a 3rd gen?

Engine: Stock 305 TBI, K&N air filter
Transmission: stock 700r4
Axle/Gears: 2.73
4th gen sun visors for a 3rd gen?
Could this indeed work? putting 4th gen sun visors with 4th gen visor brackets in an 89 camaro? It looked as if my girlfriends 2002 firebird has the same brackets as the thirdgens, but I would really like to confirm it would. Thanks guys

yeah they look about the same basically, just take one of hers off one day and see if it fits. i doubt they made the brackets smaller/bigger when the generation changed

Some guy was in a junkyard pulling 4th gen visors one time and he said he was going to be sticking them in his third gen. He said he's done it before, I just took his word for it, because I have ttops, so I need the curve, but if i had a hard top I would be all over this. It would be nice to have a lit passenger mirror.

Yuck!!! Pass on this idea! 4th gen visors suck - I think my toilet paper is stiffer and better quality material!

And the tabs on the outside of the visors break under the fabric, and they hang down like Basset Hound ears.......junk!
