Door mounted cup holders on later Firebirds

What was the first year Pontiac started putting those plastic cup and map holders on the door panels?
Mine are both missing and I hear these were very easily broken.

You would have thought they would have made those pieces out of lexan or some type of durable material.

Thats the year of my car,so I guess they were probably made for only three years then.
I'd like to find a nice pair for my car.

they are easily broken because they were strategically placed right where your foot passes to get into and out of the car. that way GM could sell more replacement cupholders.

Hello I own a 91 Camaro and I was wondering where a good spot is to put cup holders and a mini storage console?

Thank you

Well, I think you could get those door mounted firebird cupholders to work...
