booster seat ?
I have an 86 bird that I have built and it is used only as a toy. We have a 04 f-150 supercrew roush and a 96 chevy z71 that are our daily drivers. How ever my 4 year old son loves to ride in my bird. This hasn't been a problem in the past because he was in a car seat and I used the belt ratchet from toys r us to secure the seat down. Now he is in a booster seat and my car only has lap belts in the back. Does anyone know of a booster seat that can be used with a lap belt but still have the shoulder belts built in for these older cars. Thanks for any

Re: booster seat ?
i dunno what the actual law is...
but i just toss the booster seat in the front seeing as we have no passenger air bag i dont see a problem, its just as safe in the front as in the back of an fbody
im probably breaking the law but i dont see me getting pulled over for it....a 4-5 year old hardly fits in the back seat anyways ha ha

Re: booster seat ?
I know this one!
The following picture is the WRONG, ILLEGAL (in some jurisdictions) way to use a booster seat with a child:

I went to a police BBS and they recommended *always* having the booster seat in the back. It's the safest place in an F-Body for a kid and DO NOT emulate this picture.
