Autometer gauges in 87 Camaro
I'm going to be putting a T56 in my car so I figured rather than pay the exorbitant amount they want for the conversion box, I would just get autometer gauges and swap them in so I have an electrical speedo. how complicated is this? Can I just use my original bezel?

Not the original bezel, I dont think. I have a 91, so I believe its a slightyly different bezel than yours. I have all Auto Meter guages, including an electric speedometer. I used project board from Home Depot to make a new plate to hold all the guages. Then after all the holes were cut and everything, I used fiberglass resin over the entire thing to seal it and then sanded it smooth and painted it.
There are bolt in kits available now though through Hawks I think. It cost a ton more than making it though.
