Anybody else, problems with hawks headliner?
Bought the Hawks replacement ABS headliner (hard top) a little over a year ago and it was in storage, laying flat with fabric side up, till about a month and a half ago when it was finally installed. I noticed yesterday its already sagging in a few spots. Very irritating to say the least, because its just going to get worse and ill have to tear everything back apart.

Is the whole thing sagging, or just the fabric?
I've got one that's still in the box waiting to be put in.

just the fabric.
Before i put this headliner in, my brother got the same one but for his 4th gen. On his the entire thing started sagging so he got pissed off and ripped it out. I had already bought my headliner so i was just hoping that didnt happen to me as well, but instead the fabric is falling

Yeah I've heard people complaining about the whole thing sagging, but supposedly an overhead console fixes that. I haven't heard anybody mention the fabric coming loose though, maybe their glue is crap.

I haven't had my fabric start coming loose yet in any visible spots, althugh I have noticed in the huge gaps around the ttops since the fit isn't that great, that some of the fabric has loosened at the edges a little. I've had mine installed for about 5 months now.
But I don't think it's fair to say Hawk's headliner on this, even though I bought mine from hawks this is the same headliner available from everyone near as I can tell. All the companies use the same manufacturers and just sale at different prices / claim it's their product, when they are really just middle men vendors. So if it's problems with the glue, then you will likely see the same problems from one ordered from 1A Auto as Hawks.

While there was an issue some time ago with a bad batch of glue on the headliners we offer, it has definitely long been resolved. However, depending on when your headliner was made/purchased, there is a slight possibility it may have been part of that batch. Definitely worth checking in with Hawks, they may be able to help
