lower door seals

Hi every one I have a low mile (31,000) 1987 5.7 Iroc. I see these NOS lower door seal on ebay. I'm looking at the lower part of mt doors at the hull weatherstripping and don't see anything else. Did All camaros come with this seal? Can you see the seal with the door panel on? Thanks for any help. RObin Bailer Destin,Fl

Re: lower door seals

I guess I'm still confused. Their is the door hull weather seal the one that goes from the rear of the side window down the door under the door then up to the front of the side window all one piece of weatherstrip. Is there another one (it does look different on the pics of them) that is JUST on the under side of the door?

Re: lower door seals

There's a second seal underneath the door on some cars. Check posts 2 and 3 in the link to follow:

Re: lower door seals

Thank you everyone. I have ordered a NOS set to put on my '87. It didn't come from the factory with them but I am sure they will fit with no problems.

Re: lower door seals

Jamesc, do you have a close up pic of the lower door seal installed? I just received mine and not sure what way they should face. Does the smooth side go towards the interior of the car when the door is closed or the side with the ridges? Thanks

The smooth side goes against the door frame; the ridged side toward the door panel.
