Re: Racing seats...

I have a set of black '03 Viper seats that will be going into the IROC. They were previously in both my Intrepids, but those are both gone so they should look nice in the Chevy.

Re: Racing seats...

What size are those Forsa's, I am looking to purchase those seats, but I need bigger than 19" at the hips. I noticed that you have removed the armrest on the door, what did you use to cover that with?
Thanks
Steve Soon

[quote=BlackenedBird;5010766]Jeg's sells the SCAT Procar seats for $157 w/velour or $189 w/faux leather. And the direct fit brackets are $67 each. So both brackets together aer still less that 1 seat.

I have the SCAT Procar seats in my 84 T/A. Pretty good seats so far.

Re: Racing seats...

ive been looking into procar sportsman seats by scat. i saw them in a HOT ROD mag and was wondering if anyone has used them and how the quality is. They are pretty cheap and im hesitant in buying them cuz i dont want the quality to be as cheap as the price.

I'm just modifying my seats. I'm getting them reupholstered and I'm installing harness pass throughs and upgrading the hardware as well as making them softer like a suspension seats

Those are the exact seats I will be using when the time comes. Reupholstered in Vinyl.

Interesting game plan for the seats. Sounds like "allot" of money. Any way depending on what type of material you're going to use you could add the protectors on the bolsters as seen in this photo.

I'll be able to do most of the work myself on the seats so it won't be that expensive to do. Like I'll be able to do the paracord replacement, powder coat the frame, and fabricate the bolsters myself. The expensive part will be the upholstery shop.
