The Washer fluid paddle is broken on my 85 IROC-Z. I have delay wipers with cruise, its all black. The stalk from the washer fluid paddle to the steering column is very thin. I can tell its original.

Searching online, it seems like Hawks, 1aauto, Modern Day Muscle, and ebay all sell the lever with the "fat" stalk, even though some websites claim its NOS GM. I know for a fact that it looks like a cheap autozone part, and Ill be amazed if its correct GM. Liiks nothing like the original in my 85 IROC-Z.

Heres what Im talking about.

When in reality, im looking for this style, with the skinny, correct looking stalk. If only this was black, it would be an exact match.

Can anyone point me in the right direction before I have to rely on the used section or craigslist?

I just got mine from GM. Its the correct thin stalk.
I just looked at Modern day muscles site. Maybe they have the wrong pic or maybe GMs supplier is just out of the older thin part and it using up the fat part stock. Just Email them and see if they have the "correct" one instock.
The thin style was used until the airbag cars came about..
