How do I make this headliner trim grey?

Everybody here is familiar with the headliner trim that is the closest thing to the hatch window, and if you, like me, have looked into investing into a new, uncracked one, that they aren't readily available, if at all, in anything but black.

This poses a problem, as my interior is dominantly grey, and putting a black one in would throw off, well, everything. I am curious how I would go about painting this to the common grey that it's supposed to be, and hopefully I'm not the only person who wants to do this. It would help if you even had results from your time and knew what shade of grey would look best.

Thanks everyone.
Dan

SEM paint, is the best. It does not peal or chip off. Just use the right prep. Clean really good, use mineral spirits to prep opening pores of plastic. Then spray with about 3 coats letting it dry in between coats. Here is a link. You can also buy on amazon too.

I think I have a gray one I could swap you. I would have to check when I get home.

I used SEM Color Coat (I went from gray to red on the same piece), there's different shades of gray so I'm not sure which one would be correct. Make sure to use adhesion promoter, many people swear by using Bulldog, although I used Duplicolor.

camarosrock1989 and 80schild are correct; SEM paint will work and I can confirm that it works awesome!
