Re: gauges swap speedo, rpm...questions

The factory uses a flexible printed circuit board for all the connections
in the instrument cluster, and the instruments do not have individual
housing modules. So putting aftermarket instruments into a factory
panel will require considerable effort & fabrication skills.
I suggest find another instrument cluster -- swap meet, classifieds
here on TGO, etc. -- to experiment w/. Cause you won't get the
first one right.

Good luck.

Re: gauges swap speedo, rpm...questions

putting in aftermarket gauges requires wither buying or making a new guage panel to hold them, as well as custiom wiring for electric gauges or hose routing for mechanical gauges. not just a bolt in type deal.

Re: gauges swap speedo, rpm...questions

i did a full gauge swap. i used the outside piece as a template then drew it onto a piece of 1/4 in. wood and drilled the holes wasnt to hard did it in a day but the wiring was the worst part.
