Passenger side leak! Help!
The past few days it's been raining, and my car has sat outside overnight. Every morning, I find a large puddle of standing water in my passenger side floor. I have no idea where it's coming from, but my first guess is the winshield? My inner fender wells are out, I don't know if that has anything to do with it. Any ideas??? Thanks

Do you have t-tops? If so, is your headliner still attached? Before I installed my new one, I used one of the lead detection methods from GM's 1987 shop manual.
If your headliner is off, this will be easy. If not, I would lower it in the middle section. Then, take a bottle of dish detergent and with the t-tops ON the car, run a bead over all the top of all the parts where the glass meets the body.
Next, from inside of the car, use an air compressor nozzle (or a power tire inflator if you don't have a compressor) to shoot air all along the joints from the inside. Anywhere you see the soap start to bubble on the roof, is a potential leak spot. This method worked perfect for me; I now have 7 areas to treat on my driver's side.

Is the rubber in good shape?
Some ppl use windshield caulk that comes in strips.
I D K how to use it.
Somewhere I added a link to a magazine editor installing new weather stripping to his T-Tops.
Maybe search 1ATony for the link 1A Auto has showing how to install T-Top stripping. It will at least give you an idea how it's installed.
Also, search t-top leaks or t-tops leak--that is where you will find ways ppl have successfully stopped the leaks. There are quite a few, so happy browsing!! Other wise, I would post a link. Find what fits your situation.
I used clear silicone. It worked for a while, but NOT permanently!!
Washed the car last week & : ( little bit of a leak!!
Some ppl will tell you it's just the nature of T-Tops!
Good luck, & post your fix!!

Re: Passenger side leak! Help!
I haven't tackled that yet (having a garage and therefore, a dry car, is definitely a procrastination factor)! But, I found some good posts after searching the site; specifically threads with photos showing where and what was done. * For all of you reading this who have done t-top leak repairs, feel free to paste the links here to your threads
