Fix for T-Top and hatch seals
Ok, so my car has always let in a bit of water into the trunk area when it rained because the seal had been smashed for so long, and so I decided to take a page out of Ferrari's book and tried using vaseline on the seals, checked this morning after it rained all night and voila, my trunk panels are dry

Re: Fix for T-Top and hatch seals
Well they recommended it to owners of older targa top cars as a fix for squeaks and noises, and I figured it would help repel water seeing as its petroleum based (like oil), and help keep the seals from drying out. Also the driveway on our house is at an incline and the t-tops always make noise when i go up it, and yesterday after applying the jelly, the noise was definitely reduced

No matter what i do my rear seal allays leaks a little, and my windows freeze to the seal any suggestions. Ive tried the Vaseline last summer it just stopped the seals from drying out further.

A silicone based lubricant (silicone grease) is actually going to going to give you better results. It will have better hydrophobic properties (sheds water) and has a greater effective temperature range. It will give the appearance of revitalization in rubber parts as giving them a like-new look and feel. This won't last forever and reapplication is necessary, but it'll be cheaper than replacing those pieces.

thanks ill try the silicone grease then maybe replace the seal in spring if it still leaks. I am having problems with my doors freezing to the body and window to the seal will the grease help with that.

The silicone grease should keep your door/window from freezing. Make sure you cover all of the door and window seals.
