I recently picked up a pair of Recaro LS's from a '91 VW GTI. I plan to put these in my '91 Z28, now I know that some Trans Am's had Recaro LX's in them from the factory, now who supplied the rails for these seats? Was is GM or Recaro? I've been having a hard time trying to source some of the original seat rails for Recaro's, so if someone could point me in the right direction that would be awesome. If I have to, I'll adapt the factory stock seat rails to the Recaro's, how has everyone else gone about doing this? Can anyone provide pictures of their modified rails/adapter brackets?
