Alright so I am kinda new to this forum so bear with me. Heres my situation: I have an 83 Trans AM T-Top with 49K on the clock. I bought it for dirt cheap because the interior was shot. I am in need of everything except for the dash board and door panels. I found a guy in my area (Madison, WI) that is parting out an 86 Iroc-Z. I am wondering if there are any major interior differences that I should know about before I spend the money and buy the seats, carpet, seat belts, headliner ect. This is my first F-Body car and I would like to get it back on the road again. Thanks in advance for the help and advice!

 

seats are different, as are door panels. headliner and carpet can be used. The rest of the panels can be used like kickpanels an the rear trim pieces.

 

what is different about those things? Will they still bolt in?

 

Camaro door panels will workit just won't be correct. On your 83 TA even the std. plastic trim pieces and door handles will work. Seats will work too.

 

primarily Im worried about the seats, seat belts, and carpet. I want it to look good and be tasteful at the same time. I dont want it all be binding and looking stupid lol.

 

Functionality wise it will work just fine.
