Stuck Headrest

Any trick to getting the headrest back down? The passenger side one in my 92 Z28 moves up and down freely. The drivers one however wont budge. It is stuck and I cant get it to go down. Any ideas?

Re: Stuck Headrest

The detent is prob. jammed.

Take a hacksaw blade or other long stiff slim metal object and place it
in FRONT of the headrest support bar and side it down inside the seat back.
It should trip the detent and release the headrest.
