They were usually placed in different places accordingly by different plants and workers. I would look behind the door panels and under the seats. Maybe even above the fuel tank

It has been reported by someone on this forum that the build sheet in his car was not to his car.
I have personally found a build sheet above the fuel tank once. It was not legible due to having gotten wet.
Do not forget to look behind kick panels either. Good luck in finding yours.

If you have one,the most likely area would be under the passenger seat.

I found mine when I was taking my old seats out to put 4th gens in, but it somehow was sunbaked and as soon as I cut the seat springs it crumbled
