Hatch Mechanism trouble
When i bought the car the hatch was working normally but after opening and closing it a couple times the motor failed to pull down the hatch or atleast thats what i thought had happened.
Its been about two months now since i have left it like that but today i finally decided to take a look at it. It turns out it is not the hatch motor, that works fine, i can manually make it go up and down by pushing the little button. The conclusion i have come to is the latch thing is not working correctly. I think it is stuck in the down position or something. Am i right?
So my question is how do i make the latch come up? I tried prying at it with a screwdriver but was afraid i would break something so i left it alone.
Thanks

Re: Hatch Mechanism trouble
Mine was once, actually. Could be right. My first hatch mechanism ended up stripping out also, though.. hense why it didn't work.
