I am trying to remove the dash cluster on my camaro. Its hard to get at the speedo cable. Is there a trick to get at it easy? Would droping the steering wheel help? Thanks

Re: Dash cluster

Remove the hush panel under the wheel and you should be able to snake your hand up and release the cable

Re: Dash cluster

use a long flat head screw driver its held in by a pressure clip, use the screw driver to push the tab toward the back of the cluster, light tug on the cable and it will come loose, if you need a pic lemme know!
