I have a 1984 trans am 15th anniversary edition, i am looking to re upholster the seats and am having trouble finding the recaro material. Anyone have any ideas? I may replace the foam as well if its in bad shape. Is there a kit out there to do this ?

 

For alot of info about this do a search for recaro source guide . I would post the link if I knew how, sorry. I have found that any good reupholstery shop can repair minor foam damage but only the best places can do the netted headrests.
This link gives a link to a place that sells the foam and thigs for the seats. I believe it is jjcustominteriors but do not quote me.
I have been looking myself as I plan on having a pair recovered that has minor foam damage and damaged netting.
I do not know what fabric was original but check that thread and link for more info.
