how to remove overhead console?
I bought a 86 T/A and I need to remove the overhead console, the original owner disconnected all the interior lights in the overhead, its the one with the little swivel light, and it has a trip,odometer thing, and the dome lamp. please help me. Headliner is already removed.

Remove the above screws, then push the console forward if the car's a T-top or rearward if the car's a coupe. You'll be left with a wiring connector to separate (though from your description it may have been separated already).
You can see the white connector between the two forward mounting holes:

There are two screws in the dome light which can be seen below:

Remove the above screws, then push the console forward if the car's a T-top or rearward if the car's a coupe. You'll be left with a wiring connector to separate (though from your description it may have been separated already).
