dyeing inside hach pannels
does anyone know where you can get pannels like the insided hach pannels dyed restoreing a 1986 berlinetta camaro coupe ,has to be someone you can trust
Re: dyeing inside hach pannels
Take all of the interior pieces that need to be restored off. Clean them very well, get all grease, dirt and other objects off the panels. The panels must be cleaned very well. The most important part of the job is the prep work. Once you have the panels ready to be painted, take the clean panels along with the paint to a nearby body shop and ask them how much to paint the pieces. If the panels are ready to be painted and you have the paint, the cost shouldn't be too high, IMO.

I just dyed all my interior from grey to black and it looks GREAT! every piece my be clean and grease free.... I used purple power from Advanced Auto and wash all my parts and rinsed really good. Always use a adhesive promoter. dont trust the fact the porduct say you dont need it.... use it any way....I even dyed my carpet, but thats another story.....

If you just want a simple color like black, tan, gray and a few others VHT makes a great spry dye and it's only like $7 something a can. I have used it on a few motorcycle seats and it looks perfect and holds up awesome!
