Should I buy this console lid?
So I was surfing the classifieds and came across a brand new (NOS) console cover for my 84 camaro.. The guy is asking $100. I know they sell aftermarket ones for like 150. Anyhow maybe I should buy it and try to re sell it for more.

Guess it depends where you go...I've looked at every third gen every time I've been to a junkyard since 2005, and I have yet to find one with a console lid that's not broken or de-laminated. Most of the time they're missing completely.
I say buy it, sounds like a steal if it really is NOS GM.

Yeah it is a real NOS gm piece, even has the gm packaging with the gm part number on it. I searched the part number and it is a genuine part. Wishing money grew on trees.....then it would be a no brainer.

I paid $5 for mine at the junk yard. It's 95% flawless. Haven't seen another one since. Guess everyone needs them since they aren't 'load bearing' (passengers get in and use elbow with all of their weight before you can tell 'em DON'T DO THAT!)
