Re: Anyone have a "WoW" factor in their interior (post pics)

My "Wow Factor" is that the interior is 99% perfect and all original, not to mention that it has the absolute base gauges. It helps that the car only has 4600 miles on it. It's a 1982 Time Capsule...

Re: Anyone have a "WoW" factor in their interior (post pics)

Originally a red interior car, was faded pretty badly when I bought it. Swapped everything to black, ebony 4th gen seats, painted the center console and gauge cluster trim, and added some gauges in the pillar. The seats aren't as pretty as they were in 2002, been wanting to recover them for a while now.

There is a garbage dump in CO that has one... Or you can do like the previous owner and pull down a section of wood paneling of the trailer wall, and trim it our with a butter knife and sharpie to fit! Make sure to use an epoxy that wil eat the plastic console below it

All I can do is laugh and think about how nice it will soon be.

This will be in another members interior soon. I Need to put some finishing touches on it. Just waiting on payment.

Gonna look sweet. Will have to do one for my own dash next. Maybe with LTX on it. or 383

Re: Anyone have a "WoW" factor in their interior (post pics)

I had some down time at work the other day and made this pistol grip shifter out of bondo. I think It gets the "WOW" factor as in, "wow, you really got bored enough to do that"? All jokes aside it has a nice feel to it. The finger notches look uneven but it's a custom fit to the inside of my hand.

I could probably take some after work today. The interior is a project that's far from being complete, but there are a couple of unique things in there.

Re: Anyone have a "WoW" factor in their interior (post pics)

My interior's wow factor is deffinately the factory digital dash. I always hear people say "wow" or "holy (insert profanity)" when the see it. I think most believe its a really good custom job and not a fatory option.
Sorry, no pics.

It was the 'deluxe' interior option door panels on T/As. Believe standard on GTAs.

Check out my post above for the grey version

Note that the metal arm rest bracket underneath the arm rest for them is also different. Youve got to swap them also which involves drilling the rivets out. Just FYI if your thinking of the swap.

Re: Anyone have a "WoW" factor in their interior (post pics)

Well got the custm emblem today about 3 hrs ago.got the red inlay dry, got to let the white inlay dry a bit so i can Remove the funk on the polished part.
did the outside emblem in the body color, i think it stands out better.

ill then fill it with clear.
the inside emblem is finnished & cleared

could do the fill in any color. even body color. and use the red for the 427.
but wanted to see how it looks close to the GM Emblem..only a few hrs to do this color set.
whats nice is if i wanted to do diff colors..just strip them off and redo, in any i want.
thanks FSTFBDY, for fabbing them up for me.

Finally getting the rest of my interior reinstalled after a complete rebuild. Gotta' finish wiring some of the electrical add-ons. This is what it looked like before I took every nut and bolt out of the car...... and what it will look like again in about a month.

'Twilight Sentinal' Rear View, irror from Impala SS, 8 Speaker BOSE sound system, Trans Am duel LS Contuer Seats recovered with Factory CAMARO fabric, Firebird Door Cupholders, 4th Gen Keyless entry, Aftermarket Digital Speedo, Bowtie Horn Cap, T56 B&M Shifter, ect...

I really liked the way this interior turned out too,...... This is an 86 IROC I resotored back in 09'. Mostly stock; but some Firebird parts really made this IROC interior "pop" ! About the coolest "upgrade" was the leather wrapped upper door panel trim. ( the Typhoon CD player and console clock are a couple other stand out additions. )

Re: Anyone have a "WoW" factor in their interior (post pics)

i thinnk i've seen them in thirdgens before, i would think so as most of the grant wheels are "universal" you would have to look up the grant adapter kit though idk which one it takes off hand
