Re: Anyone have a "WoW" factor in their interior (post pics)
Well got the custm emblem today about 3 hrs ago.got the red inlay dry, got to let the white inlay dry a bit so i can Remove the funk on the polished part.
did the outside emblem in the body color, i think it stands out better.

ill then fill it with clear.
the inside emblem is finnished & cleared

ok, all polished up, clean and Clear is on, and set up. the emblems are set to go on

best shot with this old cam

could do the fill in any color. even body color. and use the red for the 427.
but wanted to see how it looks close to the GM Emblem..only a few hrs to do this color set.
whats nice is if i wanted to do diff colors..just strip them off and redo, in any i want.
thanks FSTFBDY, for fabbing them up for me.

LOTS of upgrades on this car. I like taking the best of the years and making something unique.
One question - on the blue spectrum material. Where & when did you get it? I would like to put some away for my blue contuer seats.

Finally getting the rest of my interior reinstalled after a complete rebuild. Gotta' finish wiring some of the electrical add-ons. This is what it looked like before I took every nut and bolt out of the car...... and what it will look like again in about a month.

Thanx !! The upgrade work is kinda' like my "therapy",........ ( never ending ! )
My Berlinetta's Interior is actually 85' Black but might seem a bit lighter due to the full sunshine when the pic was taken, Got the same interior ( - the door panels ) inside my 85Z too.

I still have some Orange (AKA: Charcoal) & Brown 'CAMARO' material, but havn't had any blue in years. Sorry dude - I don't have any leads for you either.

can you post a picture of the color you do have.... Do you have "42" Camaros, enough to do a complete interior in that color? My car has Beechwood but leaning toward something custom possibly.

Nice set-up !
I put those Seat, Door Panels, along with a red carpet and red sunvisros in my step-Fathers 86 Firebird last year. He LOVES it ! However; we left all the interior plastics grey so it looks a bit different.

Sure; I'll get some pics and will send you a PM tomorrow with an update.

Here is mine from a couple of years ago. Not much has changed other than the car is now a 5 speed.

I pretty much have the same philosophy as John in Ri. I took the best of all years and threw it at my iroc...with a bit of a twist.

Clean & simple.
Purchased xtra material w/seats to do the backs, and re-did the console lid to match.

How about the 1987 62E pallex/leather combo option? Picked up the car a few years back, knew nothing about the option or third gens in general at that time. Assumed it wasn't anything special. Turns out 1 of 65 reported with this interior is pretty special. Belongs to my 87 Trans Am, but no other super rare options other than original 2 piece PW7s. So thankful I restored it instead of gutting the interior as originally planned.

Pic from the meet the other day. Alcantara Suede headliner, sun visors and rear speaker covers. Also, the door panels and kick panels all done in stitched pleated leather. A little different but makes it look like what the factory should have done from the beginning.

There are some great online tutorials. Check out youtube. Also, soundmancaraudio has a lot of good instructional vids on auto sound carpeting. My best advice is to practice on junk first and use good spray glue. cheap is not good. 3m super 77 is my go-to. It's about 12 bucks a can and can do a relatively large speaker box.

awesome, I really like the look. but i like the 77-ish stingray seats a lot...might start looking around for some. I've always wanted something a little nicer then stock camaro seats =/ kinda bland. Thanks!

Anyone have a Firebird interior in a Camaro? I'm contemplating it here:
https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/inte...-interior.html
I fugure that would make you say 'wow?!' Or maybe 'Woah, wait a second.'

Re: Anyone have a "WoW" factor in their interior (post pics)
Definitely some nice interiors in here. So clean!
Gave me some ideas to do now. First is finish this LS3 swap than its the interior.
How many and what number bulbs do i need to do my 1991 guage cluster in Red LED's? 194's, correct?
I'd also like a new steering wheel. Seen one in here earlier (not a grant) that i LOVED. Momo maybe?
Also gonna look into them GTA door panels now, much cleaner than my Camaro ones. I will look into that swap when i add power windows and locks now.
Is it possible to swap in a fourth gen consle with cup holders with my Camaro dash? and look clean and factory without glassing? Or can i add cup holders to my factory consle?
What triple pillar pod are you all using? I'd like one that fits good on my T-Top Car. Also what gauges are recommended in them?
