Hi guys. I tried searching for this specific question but couldn't find what I was looking for.

I picked up a new project to fix up. It's a bare bones V6 with A/C and a power hatch release, but there is no button for the hatch. I took the dash bezel off hoping that the harness was there and that all I would need was the switch. But there is nothing there.There is a white plug to the right of the ignition switch (in the picture). Is there an intermediary harness that I am missing? if so, anyone have a good source for one?

 

That white plug is where the harness goes for the performance sound slider if you had it, rear defrost button, and hatch release button. So all you should need is that one harness and the switch you're missing.

sweet thanks...I'm running out to the boneyard tomorrow to check first. I called them today to find out that they have a "fresh" trans am that they just got in. If that falls through I'll snag the ebay one.
