Weird "fishy" smell?

So today I started up the camaro since its been sitting for awhile since I've been working on it. After changing the oil, putting in new air filters, and putting the new wheels on I started it up. When I went into the car to turn it back off I noticed a bad smell that smelt like fish almost. Anyone have an idea of what it could be? Haven't smelled ever and I've had the car since June.

You wouldn't have mice building a home in your car would you?

Didn't think of that, I sure hope I don't! Any specific places I should look to make sure?

Old bad coolant often smells like a rotting fish. Possible you have a leak somewhere

Could be the heater core leaking. Check the passenger footwell and see if it is damp or slimy... Then check under the hood for any signs or mouse droppings etc. my mother in law had an entire family of squirrels using her engine compartment for a home when she parked her SUV in the driveway for a week or two..!

Anywhere, especially around the heater vent area, under the seats, I have an 4' exhaust so I have to put steel wool and mothballs in my tail pipe when I store it to keep the sneaky bastards from building a nest in the muffler.. Last year I started the car and blew an entire family out.. Looked like I put them through a wood chipper..
