speedodometer help

speedodometer help

hello everyone i have a 1992 305 v8 camaro and i can not get the speedodometer to work i have checked all the wiring and checked the sensor in the transmission i am not sure how to get the actual speedo out of the dash yet. if anyone can help me it will be greatly appreciated thanks

Check to see if you're connection at speedo sensor the end of the transmission is getting any power with a test light or multimeter.

does the tach work, how about the other guages, if not first try the fuse, have you had it out recently? did you get it seated back in its spot with the connector in the dashboard,

yes the car is drivable all guages work except the speedo. The sensor at the transmission is putting out voltage and i am getting voltage to the sensor at the transmission through the wires. I havent taken any of the dash apart yet. And i updated my profile
