Hey, I just got my second camaro. It's an 87 iroc with the 5.7. Im doing a restore on it and want to order the right color parts for it. It needs a new headliner (yes it has t-tops) and I wasnt sure the color. Im ordering from yearone and just need to make sure. Ill have to put more pics up tomorrow, but my seats are read and white with iroc-z embroidered into the head rest and red carpet and red alot of things. I know alot of you are experts when it comes to these old beautiful IROC's. Thanks for the help!
One pic is from above just to show some color.
other pic is when it was getting new tires.will put interior up tomorrow to help. Thanks!
Your exterior color is Code 81 = Bright Red (same as my IROC).
If your interior is stock, check the SPID sticker if it's still present. Look for the color code as in the photo below. I haven't looked at many SPID stickers, but the codes might appear as combinations.
To be honest I have no idea where that is located. I know it is red interior, but what red is it classified as.
I'm needing a new headliner kit and plan on ordering it from yearone.com
Hey everyone,
as I stated in my first post, my wife me my original 1987 IROC Z back last week for an early Christmas present.
I just went out to the barn after reading this thread to double check my RPO code so I knew exactly what color of interior pieces to order.
If memory serves me correctly. Which after 15 years of not having the car, I'm not 100% on. I thought it was dove gray or medium gray.
Apparently the guy that had my car, removed the RPO sticker! Or replaced the console lid. But it looks like my original lid (couple of identifying marks in it)
Can you please help me identify the proper color?
