Hole Size in Shifter Plate??
Hey Guys,
Like the Title says, I'm going to be making my own shifter plate for my WC T5 trans. I am currently in the process of swapping in the trans, but I was wondering if someone could tell me the size of the hole for the shifter. Looking for the length front to back, and the width from driver side to passenger side. I will be using my Auto Shift plate as a sizing Guide but I need to know the size of the hole for the manual shifter. This is for a 92 Camaro.

My trans and shifter are out now, ill look tomorrow. You just want to know how big of a hole you need to cut right?

UPPER shift boot. Ok my bad, lol. I have a 5 speed shift plate at home I can measure tonight.

Hey guys, i have that hole cut, i have to make my own shifter plate for on the center console, and i was wondering how big of a hole goes in that for the shifter. I need to know the size of the hole that the upper shift boot goes in. I appreciate the help though.
