Re: Cluster Swap/ Odometer Rollback

I would think you would have to go through the state and have all that documented.I know it is illigal to roll back an odometer.

I just want to take it to the mileage that the car currently has. I'm not taking it less than the car reads.

I didn't have an attitude until you kept insisting that it's illegal. I'm not concerned with that and you don't understand that.

This post needs to be locked and has nothing to do with restoration or repair and is a fraudulent act.

Re: Cluster Swap/ Odometer Rollback

It is not against the law. It would be if he rolled it back to a lower number than his car currently has. There are places that will put your mileage into a replacement bike cluster if you want to swap yours out. This is the same thing.

Perhaps the wording has the few posters panicing. OP, ask how you can set the correct mileage in a replacement cluster for your car. Leave the rollback wording out of it.

http://bligidy.com/odometer-correction.htm

http://www.kincerservice.com/

http://www.floridaspeedometer.com/Mi...orrection.aspx

These places from just a simple google search will correct odometer mileage. If this was illegal then the feds would have done raided them.
