Carbon fiber vinyl on center console shifter plate

I had some carbon fiber vinyl laying around so I decided to test it on my center consoles shifter plate. What you think?

Looks good, but its going to clash with the rest of the plastic pretty badly.
A more subtle cross road pattern would prob work better.

Re: Carbon fiber vinyl on center console shifter plate

how easy/hard is it to scratch the vinyl? I am making a new top for my center console and that on a steet of aluminum could work better than a thin sheet of ABS.

The more I look at it installed, the more I like it. I love the way this car is coming together.
