I like these door panels. Where can I find them? Also I have power windows. I prefer new, black. My interior is gray, I am thinking about changing it to black.

And

Re: Can someone help me identify and find these interior parts

you can get those door panels from classic industries, although they will be aftermarket and not OEM. But you might be able to find them in late model camaros, my 92 had that same style just in red.

For the rear cover thing, where are you located, I happen to know where one of those are that the owner would be willing to part with. I believe you will need to recover the carpet area though.

The cover requires the rear plastic panel also. It has a lip designed into it to rest the lid on and a lock tab so the cover can lock. Be sure to get both pieces.

That cover you have pictured looks like something somebody made themselves. The original cover should have a handle and a lock.

Those door panels are from an '88 Sport Coupe Camaro. PM RCAR7395, he is known for pulling these (check his avatar haha) and can usually get a black set.

The load floor panel was an optional item. Not sure how many years it was available, but it was for sure available in 92 as an option. It also was included in the 6-speaker Bose Radio option. Two 6 X 9 speakers were mounted on the panel.

I got one of those for my 92 RS when it was new and while installing the hinge bolts, I found out the hard way that the gas tank is very near the vertical area where the hinges mount.

Re: Can someone help me identify and find these interior parts

I had an '82 with it so it was available for the entire 3rd gen run. The speakers that were mounted in it for the Bose system were 4" speakers, not 6x9s.

That's exactly why I haven't tried to install mine yet...and your post confirms my suspicions.

Were you able to mount the hinges successfully? If so, how? Did you have to remove the gas tank to be sure that you weren't drilling more holes into it?

You can see in this pic from when I had my interior apart - there are supposed to be 2 mounting tabs welded to the car to mount that shelf.

While the gas tank was out for repairing the hole I drilled into it, I finished drilling the necessary holes. As I recall, there were bolts available from GM for mounting the hinges, but any standard hardware bolts would work.

My 92 didn't have those tabs, but I seem to recall that there were dimples in the metal where the bolts needed to.

Yeah, the tabs are spot welded at the factory, but only on cars that had the option. I'm hoping you're right about the dimples, that would make my job much easier!

Yeah, that's definitely the way to do it if you have the gas tank already out. I may end up replacing my tank just because my car's been sitting since 2005, and if that's the case, I'll go ahead and put a new fuel pump/sending unit in and drill the bolt holes while it's out.

If my gas tank is good, I may just save this cargo divider project for a later date...thanks for the info nonetheless though!

actually the rest lip is 2 steel pieces welded to the rear of the car, I know because I added it to mine because of the lid always sagging too low. The lock tab secures to one of the 2 sheet metal brackets. There's only a hole in the rear trim panel where it pokes through.

The rear panel is different for those with the cargo cover. I still have the original rear panel for mine that I removed up in the attic. If I get frisky, I'll dig it out and make pictures of the two different panels.

Keep in mind that mine is a 92. Earlier years may be as you described.

Yes, the rear panel is different in that it has a ridge but it will not hold the cover up properly without the metal tabs as the panel bends out the way easily and the cover drops down too low. Ask me how I know.....

That one is mine, and 82tarecaro is correct. I had that piece made to cover the stereo amp and sub installed in the well. No hinge on it, it lifts off.
