90 camaro rs. I turn on my heater and only my defroster vent blows. Is there another blower motor somewhere. I have a really nice interior and I don't wanna destroy it. So I am asking for some help and some insight on this. Please and thank you.

 

Somewhere either inside the dash or in the engine bay, there is more than likely a vacuum line for the blower controls unplugged or broken. Check around on your intake for a disconnected/broken vacuum line coming from the passenger side firewall, and if you can't find the problem you can do what I've done. I jammed the vent doors to stay open so all vents are going at once. It will get me the through the winter for now.

 

Check your ported vacuum lines,their behind the heater control unit I/P,listen for hissing sound,if so,you have a vacuum leak.

@ Jesse shredd. What vent did u jam open? And where is it located? I'm going to do that until I can fix the problem the right way. And also my car came factory with no ac controls or options. Is that common for a 90 camaro rs? No ac at all. Thank you for our help
