TTA/Notchback back seat

I finally got around to looking at my back seat ad the reason why it is so wobbly. The entire corner of the backrest that hooks into the tube sticking out of the tunnel has broken off and is missing.
My question is this, does anyone know where I can find a replacement backplate or know how i can repair this one?
Being as how there were very few, I have a better chance of winning the lottery than finding one of these seats in a junk yard.

Post a picture of what exactly is missing. It might not be a TTA/Notchback only piece.

I wouldn't wanna swap my split-back seats for a solid-back seat.

Re: TTA/Notchback back seat

Every higher option TA and every single GTA I've ever seen has had the split back seats. Its not exactly a rare option. Somewhat pointless to have, but nice when the odd situation does come up.

Aka 3 people in a car and need some extra cargo room. Drop 1/2 of the seat.

I'm not sure about the 1990 models since they're pretty rare, but the '91 and '92 GTAs have solid-back seats.

I would cry if I saw someone replace TTA/Notchback rear seats with forth gen seats.

Re: TTA/Notchback back seat

I want to keep these seats because the Notchback and TTAs were the only cars equipped with this style of back seat. Which is why I will problably need to go to Home depot or someplace to rig something up for a reapair.

Re: TTA/Notchback back seat

The non-high headrest split rear seat is fairly common in older cars. Maybe you can find those and get the parts ya need from them??
